Hi friends,
Spring is coming, I can just sense it in the air, can you? At one point in my life, Spring to me was just a muddy, brown, rainy season of transition that was in between winter and summer. Honestly, it was my least favorite season, just something to endure to get to summer. But now, now I appreciate Spring for what it is, an awakening, new growth, hope and the promise of things to come.
And today, spring is here on the blog as The Blooming Hydrangea is back. Funny, that back in March of 2011, The Blooming Hydrangea was first born. I had started blogging in 2010 mostly as a place to post my recipes so when people asked for them, I could direct them to the blog instead of sending it via email or writing it out on a recipe card. During that first year, I found out how much I enjoyed blogging, meeting people from all over and connecting over recipes and DIY projects. What started out as a simple place for recipes quickly turned into a community, a hobby that I enjoyed and an online journal of snippets of our homes and life. It hasn’t always been consistent but I know that when I have decided to walk away from blogging, I always find myself back here again, I’ve learned that blogging is really what I enjoy doing. Seriously that I’ve stuck with blogging for over 6 years really says something for this ESFP personality, which by the way if you are looking for something fun to do, head over to 16 personalities and take the test. You will be blown away by it, I know I sure was! You can read more about my ESFP personality here.
So the blog name is back to The Blooming Hydrangea and the blog will be getting a new look this month as well. Posts are being brainstormed and I’m excited for what’s to come! If anyone’s still reading my blog, I’d love to hear why you come to this blog (besides that you’re my mom, husband or friend and you have to), what you love about it, what you’d love more of, etc.

Finally, a big thank you to those that have encouraged me on my blogging journey! I wouldn’t be where I am today without your love and support! I appreciate that you take time out of your busy life to visit my little tiny part of the world wide web!

Ange…I had to laugh out loud about who is reading besides your Mom; I am a friend of your Mom’s! Keep up the good work, it is much enjoyed. I am done doing much decorating, but it is fun to see your projects.
Hi Susan, Well I recognize your name, I am sure we will meet eventually! Thank you for reading my blog and for your encouraging words!
