It’s Saturday morning and I’m making Monkey Bread this morning as I type this. I was thinking about traditions this morning and wondering if any of you have any traditions that you do on the weekend, like do you have a certain type of breakfast food? Are Friday nights date night? Maybe it’s a family movie night? Sunday brunch? We used to make Saturday morning “Pancake morning” when Mr.A would make pancakes for the kids, sometimes they would be shapes, letters, green, pink or blue. I’d love to hear from you and what your traditions are for the weekend. Maybe we’ll be inspired to start a new weekend tradition!

I like to make bigger breakfasts on Saturday mornings, like homemade cinnamon rolls, baked french toast, coffee cakes, etc. Sunday lunches are always brunch foods…Eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, toast, etc. I love the laziness of weekends, even when they really aren't lazy!!
