Summer Slacking

July 11, 2012

Since coming home from vacation we’ve been busy, busy unpacking, doing laundry, having friends over, playing in the pool, riding bikes, eating on the patio under the new gazebo, playing croquet, hiding from the sounds of our roof being replaced, hanging with neighbors at a fire, running off for a quick unplanned trip to see our former babysitter get married and a myriad of other things.

In other words, I haven’t been blogging, hardly read a blog post,  emailed any of you or done a project.   I did order some bedding for E’s room from Pottery Barn Teen of all places but it was a great deal and just what we both wanted for her room.

So I’m sorry I haven’t been by to read your blog, comment, admire your project, post anything fun or exciting on my blog and that I’ve been MIA.  I think the reason I haven’t is pretty good though,  summer is here, I want to enjoy my family and my precious time with them and I”m hoping that is exactly what you are doing too!  So I will be back soon, I still haven’t finished posting about our trip!  Marriage Monday will be back soon but I can’t say for sure when.  Enjoy your summer friends, I miss you but I’ll be back!!!!!

No worries, Ange! I’m glad we have Instagram to keep up with each other, though. 😉 Family must always come first, so I, too, have been a slacker where blogging is concerned. The thing is, time never comes back and soon school will be starting. I look forward to catching up with everyone then. I took a small chunk of time today to check on my friends because I miss you! But I understand. Looks like you have been having a great summer! Us too! Hugs!

Love the pic of you guys!!! Just as you said, it’s summer, we’re allowed to slack off and enjoy the kids and weather. 🙂
