Our Home Then & Now

Read Time:54 Second

I was looking for some photos the other day and came across the pics from when our home was for sale by the previous owners.  So the furniture pictured in the before photos does not belong to us but it’s fun to see how the home was staged when we looked at it.

Scroll down and see all the changes we’ve made to the house in the past four years, the most obvious being  the cabinets and trim being painted white.  If you click on most pics it will bring you to blog posts with paint colors and other details.  Otherwise you can always ask and some rooms I still need to blog about.

It’s been awesome to take our time and change things up.  We still have lots of plans for our home and I didn’t even show you all the rooms, yet.  This is the longest we’ve lived in any house and the benefit is we don’t have to fix it up and then leave it for someone else.  We are so thankful for our home and neighborhood!!!

Love the before and afters! Things that popped out at me: new kitchen appliances – I had no idea! Also I really like your new floor stain better than the old. And the other surprising thing was how much better your dinning room looks just with the curtain rods hung high – not to mention all the other details you changed.

Thanks Steph! It’s always fun to hear what other people notice or what sticks out to them. When are you going to do some before and afters of your home? I know you’ve done some great painting!

What a beautiful difference. It’s like a breath of fresh air! Everything looks fresh, alive and beautiful. Love love the wainscot–so beautiful and your colors (similar to mine) are beautiful. You did a great job!

Thank you Karen! I am always amazed at the power of paint to change things! And yes, we do like those similar colors don’t we?
