Welcome to week 2 of the ORC! It’s been a productive week here, including ripping out the tile and scraping off the popcorn ceiling.
And on a side note, thank goodness for Minnesota winters and neighbors who let us use their ice scraper driveway thingy so that the hubby could get up the wire/thinset cement stuff off the floor.
Moving onto much prettier things, how about that tile? Besides demolition, I have been busy painting the vanity Urbane Bronze by Sherwin Williams which is the accent wall color in the master bedroom.
One of the major decisions I have yet to make is the shower curtain. I purchased two from TJ Maxx but now I’m changing directions a little bit.
This Greek Key Shower curtain from Target is one thought.
The basic white waffle shower curtain from West Elm.
Bed Bath and Beyond has a Greek Key curtain I like as well.
Bed Bath Beyond also has this striped hotel style curtain too.
Target had a new shower curtain that had thin gold stripes but I can not find it anywhere online. I would love a shower curtain with gold in it but I can’t really find any.
I’ve tried to make a list of what needs to be done and what possibly could be done, we’ll see how this goes!

Demo and prep takes the longest. That’s what I keep telling myself. I think I’m leaning toward the hotel stripe. But I do love Greek key! ?Good luck on getting that tile down!
Yes, demo is a love of mine but then I don’t like waiting for things like tile to be installed. Lol. Yes, hard choice on the shower curtain and I haven’t done a very extensive search yet so we’ll see what else I find! Thanks for stopping by!

Wow, what a great week of progress. LOVE your inspiration board. I’d be totally tempted to DIY gold onto a white shower curtain by the way, as long as you had a liner, it should work! In theory 🙂
Lol. Well I have a special DIY project in the works that I will save until the end so we’ll see how much time I have left but it’s a good thought! 🙂
