Well, it’s coming down to the wire and next week is the big reveal week. As a reminder, here’s the mood board I created a few weeks ago.

Sadly, I didn’t accomplish well, anything in this room until yesterday and it was all shopping. I hit up TJ Maxx/Homegoods which is always fun! Who knows if I’ll even use half of this stuff but that’s how I operate, buy a ton and then go back and buy more. Then return 85% of it and wonder why you bought it all.
The hubby and I hit up Lowes to pick up some tile for the backsplash while the kids were at youth group and awana last night. I’m pretty excited to put this up on the wall soon!
Saturday I finally bit the bullet and purchased a light for bathroom. I paid $149 for it and used prime for 2 day shipping. The next day the price dropped down to $126 so Monday I called Amazon to get the price difference back which they did give me. Unfortunately with 2 day shipping it still arrived yesterday, figure that one out. Then, I end up with a screwy light fixture. Can you see what’s wrong with it?
So after all that, I have no light. Back to the drawing board I go and to the post office to ship back the light. Hoping I can find a light that’s affordable, ships on time and isn’t defective before next Wednesday.
Here’s what’s left to do on our checklist, I’m still debating the shower curtain rod but I think everything else is a go. Guess we’ll see next week!
