Your furnace will quit working on the coldest day of the year.

Last week my husband had lasik eye surgery and we paid the $3100 out of pocket for the surgery. The money will be reimbursed through our med flex account but that won’t be for about a month.

While waiting for the furnace guy to come, I spent some time browsing pinterest and finding pictures of things that are cozy and warm.

I did pin these super cute slippers but they just didn’t seem very cozy.

Then I found my slippers from Wal-Mart and yes, they are cozy. I know, not as cute the ones above but they are warm, fuzzy and were only $12.

This hat was listed under my search of cozy things on Pinterest….if it gets cold enough I might just wear this or maybe if we decide to play that we live in Russia.  My kids are always pretending they live in different countries.

Typing the word “cozy” into a Pinterest search will turn up something interesting, guranteed. Like this gun…..I’m not sure cozy is the word I would use to describe it.  Strange would be more like it.

The house is at 64 degrees right now and has been most of the day so it’s not really all that chilly in here, I’m just thinking that tonight if our furnace isn’t it fixed we will either be popsicles in our beds tonight or looking for somewhere warmer to sleep.

I have had a busy few weeks but later this week I’ll share the new family room look and other rearranging that I’ve done.  What have you been up to this week?  Are you motivated to your home clean and organized or are you still struggling to find motivation after the busy holiday season?

Isn't that always the way? Heat up some good tea.

I am trying to muster up the will to start my guest bedroom redo and I am just so dog gone tired.

That's Murphy's Law at work. When it rains it pours. I hope you get warm quickly.

These stories are usually about food and fun, I didn't know they took a dark turn into surgery and hypothermia!!! Maybe a cookie will turn it all around? 🙂
I'm totally baffled by Pinterest searches. Most descriptions are simply "love this!" so if you search "love this" you get practically ALL of Pinterest. You gotta love that the gun came up for "cozy." Hysterical.

Oh Ange NO!! I hope you have lots of warm blankets on hand and hunker down until the furnace is fixed. Isn't that always the way? Hope your house is nice and toasty soon, and look forward to hearing about your family room!!

Oh man! I feel your pain Ange! Our furnace went out right before Christmas and that certainly was a chunk of change we weren't planning on spending during the most expensive time of the year. So sorry about it but glad to see you are finding ways to keep warm…even if it is only in Pinterest land! 🙂

Things always seem to happen that way! I love all of those cozy pictures. My husband is the heat patrol and we keep ours at 63 no higher then 64. I have my uggs on at all times!

Hello stranger!! Sorry about your furnace…but hope you've got it all fixed now. 🙂 Love 'mug sweater' ha!

I looked for a place to message you on here, but can't find one…so commenting here instead. Are you back on FB? I saw your husbands page, but wasn't sure if you were sharing.
