Summer is drawing to a close and it’s almost time for back to school. This summer has been a bit different for our family with moving to a new city. We spent most of June packing and the beginning of July unpacking. So we knew that this summer probably wouldn’t be the summer where we went on a family vacation to somewhere like Florida, the Carolinas or out West. We knew that we didn’t need to go anywhere exotic or far to have fun as a family so we ended up going to our favorite place, Wisconsin Dells. We’ve lived very close to the Dells for thirteen years and we end up here at least twice a year, sometimes more. In the past we’ve spent some time at the Wilderness Resort, Chula Vista and a few other places. This year, we’ve changed it up and are at a resort right on Lake Delton.
This was only the first day of fun! Lots more to come!
So fun Ange! We are off for one last "hoorah" today as well before its back to school in a couple of weeks. I just feel like I need to squeeze every last ounce of fun out of summer that I can, you know? 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your vacation!

Aww we love the Dells and just went up too! It is our family getaway a couple times of the year. Winter time is the best just to be able to pretend like it is summer. Thanks for sharing about staying on Lake Delton. We have never done that and always stay at the Wilderness.
