Fridays Unfolded #135

Hello friends!  Is everyone staying warm and not buried in snow?  If you happen to live in Buffalo New York, I am sorry!  Being a former Yooper, I know all about big snowstorms and lake effect snow.  I don’t have much going on my blog this week other than that I am STILL painting my cabinets.

Hopefully I can finish this before my hands fall off, my kids graduate high school and oh yeah, Thanksgiving because I’m hosting!  Let’s leave this mess behind and see what awesome sauce was linked up at the party!

With the Holidays around the corner, some of you might be crafty and I think this is an amazing gift I would want to receive!  Amy from Delinate Your Dwelling shows you how to create this awesome Faux Agate Leather Cuff.

Carole from Garden up Green shows us how to make a beautiful and easy centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table.

Ginnie from Hello Little Home shares with us her Creamy Wild Rice Soup that looks delicious!  Perfect for this time of year when it’s cold outside!  She also has a ton of other great recipes for Thanksgiving week so make sure and check out her blog!

I love big mirrors and so I was thrilled to see this tutorial from Edea Smith on how to Upcycle an IKEA mirror into a big and chunky framed mirror!  I might need another mirror soon and I think I know just how I’ll make it!

Finally, with Thanksgiving next Thursday, I thought we’d end with this great roundup of Thanksgiving Family Traditions from the LouLou Girls.   It’s never too late to start a new tradition this year and I’d love to hear what your traditions are as well!
