Boob Light Buh-Bye!

Good Morning! I have been a busy beaver around these parts, painting the trim in the family room and kitchen is number one on the hit list this week. The second coat of paint will go on later this evening, ok later tonight, as in after 9pm. It looks so awesome, can’t wait to share it with you!
In the meantime I thought I would share this little beauty I picked up this weekend. We went to a sketchy neighborhood to pick it up but it was worth it.
Remember this light in the dining room, the mother of all boob lights?  She is now on CL so if you know anyone looking for a giant boob light, send them my way!

That was one huge light for this small room.  I hated it and couldn’t wait to take it down.

Here is my Craigslist find from Friday, all sparkly and pretty after a bath!  She was only $40 and heavy as all get out.

I feel like we are at a point in our relationship were I can show you a picture of my dining room not all dressed up and pretty and you’ll be ok with that.  At least you can see we enjoy playing games and actually do use our dining room in real life, it’s not just for show.  I didn’t really want to take a picture at night but if we were to wait for me to capture this during the day, well we might be waiting a while.

I am also very excited to report that the bubs is wearing undies for the sixth day in a row!  Yeah!  I’m sure he’ll love that I posted these pictures on the world wide web one day.  These are from last year but he’s so cute I think we can see them again.

That’s all I have for today.  I need to get cleaning my house, my mom is coming tomorrow and we host a youth group small group at our homes on Wednesday as well.  I don’t want them to see the tornado that went through while I was painting trim.

What a darling little boy! That certainly was the mother of all boob lights – it must have been nursing. You might want to let your new light hang down quite a bit more from the ceiling so that it relates better to the furniture beneath it.

I'll never be able to look at one of those lights again without seeing a boob. I never noticed that before. Is that how you described it on CL? Boobs and underwear…Your blog is taking an interesting turn. 🙂
Love the chandelier and how high you hung it.

I love your new light — we have said buh bye to our fair share of boob lights too.

That chandelier looks fabulous. You have me thinking of the light fixtures that I need to change (sooner rather than later). Your baby is a doll and he sure does love the camera!
