Today I”m linking up with Michelle at TenJune because I’ve decided to participate in the 30 day photo challenge. I have a camera, the Kodak Easy Share Z812 IS and I really have no clue how to use it besides switching from Scene Select to Smart Scene. This camera was well rated, compared to DSLR without the price and some features of course. We purchased ours off of ebay two years ago for $125 so I can’t complain. I just need to figure out how to use more of the great features. I was trying to play around with the settings a little bit in the manual mode but I have A LOT to learn. Kristy over at Hyphen Interiors had a great post the other week on using your camera, here is the link so you can check it out Camera Settings 101.
Here are the 30 days of challenges. I have to admit, I hardly had time to do them all so this is not my best work. Plus it’s really hard to get a good shot when there are 4 children and two dogs who like to enter the frame at the worst possible time.
Day 1 – Self Portrait
Day 2 – (technically the same day as day 1) What you wore – I obviously didn’t have the camera centered for the timed shot but this was the best one, trust me.
Day 3 – Clouds
Day 4 – Something Green
Day 5 – From a high angle
Day 6 – From a low angle
Day 7 – Fruit
You can link up and join the challenge as well! I’m hoping to see improvement over the next 30 days and if not, I can always blame it on my camera, right?

You did a good job with your photos! Looove your cloud shot, very cool! The From a Low Angle too… I would have never thought of a chandelier! Your pup is too cute 🙂

Great pics! I totally felt AWKWARD posing for the what I wore pic. But I figured I'd go for it! You aren't the only headless one. Cheers!
Great job with the photos, Ange! I really love that cloud shot- how cool is that you got one single little cloud?! Love it! And the banana shot is so clear… you did an amazing job!
Can't wait to see your photos this Wednesday for week two (days 8-14) of the challenge!
