Powder Room Inspiration & ORC

This past April Linda from Calling it Home did the One Room Challenge and I joined in the fun with the kids bathroom.

Well the call has gone out again for the One Room Challenge and again, I’ve decided to link up.  The powder room has been bothering me for a while, I still like it but it’s time for a change.   (And yes, the photo below is watermarked with my previous blog name).  In case you are new to the blog, here’s the post for the powder room and I am happy to say, it’s been 3 yes 3 years since I did the powder room so for those of you who think I like to repaint rooms every 7.8 months, you are wrong.   What can I say, haters gonna hate……

Wallpaper has been on my radar for a while in there and I think I’m going for it.  Nevermind that I’ve never actually wallpapered a room before and I’m also thinking of ripping out the hardwood floor that smells like urine.  I am not a big fan of hardwood flooring in bathrooms, I think tile is a much better choice.

Moving on.  Now for the fun part, the inspiration.  (Click on the photo to go to the original link)

This wallpaper I have wanted for a while.  It’s expensive, very expensive.  I still love it.

I am also considering dark walls.  This bathroom is so good, I love it.

As always this little redo is on limited funds.  Like really limited, as in $250 or less limited.  I’m hoping to figure out soon what direction this is headed in and I’ll update as we go along.  Are you joining the ORC linking challenge?  Do you follow along with the ORC?  If you haven’t, head over to Calling it Home and check out the past three years of events!!!

  1. I have removed so much wallpaper in our home that I will probably never actually apply it. But, I do love the idea of wallpaper in a small space like a powder room because it makes such a big impact. I also love your zebra room!
