Hey friends, just popping in today to share this quick and easy recipe with you! I love soup and especially in the winter time when it’s cold and dreary outside. There’s something about the smell of soup filling up my home that makes me happy!
Here is the soup I’m making tonight, this recipe is from a friend who was kind enough to share with me. It so super easy and so rich and yummy! I am sure you could make your own cream soup instead of using canned for this recipe! I took the ingredient photo last year and now I am gluten free. So tonight I used Pacific Gluten Free Cream of Mushroom and it came out great! I found the rice at my local Target, the organic chicken broth and cheddar cheese are from Aldis.
1 cup uncooked wild rice
2 lbs cooked cubed chicken
2 cans chicken broth
2 cans cream of mushroom or chicken
4 cups milk
2 cups cheddar cheese
2/3 cups carrots (I don’t add these because I am allergic and my family doesn’t eat them either)
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (which is Gluten Free)
Mix all ingredients in your crockpot and cook for 5 hours.
I stink at taking photos of food but trust me, it’s yummy!
